This is certainly a great piece of iPod news for you who were putting off on new workout routines until you get the iPod-compatible Nike+ heart rate monitor. According to the latest info, June 1st is the date you can expect it to be released in the US. After being teased when the 5th gen iPod nano was introduced a year ago, we may finally be able to get our hands on the real thing (in the US) in a matter of days. However, the exact release date for the international market still has not been decided.

A Nike informant named Clover explained that they will officially release the iPod-compatible Nike+ heart rate monitor on June 1, 2010. “Hopefully in June the product will get to Canadian markets, and in summer 2010 it will be available for international markets.”

People who have been waiting for the iPod-compatible Nike+ heart rate monitor’s release might be quite pleased with this iPod news, but we are still not informed about a number of product specifications and properties, including it’s price, which is one of the most important things. The still unknown price along with device compatibility and physical look are the mysterious sides of this product’s release that has been long awaited by many.
