You may have several problems when trying to get your iPod games to work. Potential problems can include the games not syncing into your iPod or a failure in functionality. Because of that, you should know how to troubleshoot iPod games in the case that they will not play on your device.

iPod1. First, download the latest version of iTunes before trying to sync your iPod games. An outdated iTunes version can cause your games not work correctly or cannot sync into your iPod. You also need at least a 3rd generation iPod to play games on the device.

2. Check the compatibility of your iPod with the games that you have selected for download. You can go to the “Devices” menu on the iTunes menu. An iPod Games tab should be appear along with the games that you have downloaded. If it does not show up, it means that the game cannot work on your iPod version.

3. Sync the games into your iPod. If the game cannot automatically sync with your iPod, you may have to manually select the title that you want to work on your iPod. To do this, click on the “iPod Games” tab and check the “Sync Games” checkbox. Choose “Selected Games” and then pick the particular game that you want to work. After you hit “Apply,” it should be found in your iPod menu.

4. Reset your iPod and try to sync the games again if they cannot work. To reset your iPod, toggle the hold button and then hold down the “menu” and “select” keys simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.

5. You can get additional help from the Apple Support website. The Apple site can give you additional troubleshooting advice if your iPod games still won’t work.
