Can you believe it? Apple Inc now has beaten the Microsoft Corp as the biggest tech company. Based on the market value, Apple has higher market value with shares rose as much 2.8 per cent on Nasdaq on Wednesday. According to Reuter’s report, Apple appeared with a market value of about $222 billion, while Microsoft has $219 only. But, any changes should happen tomorrow. We all believe that Microsoft would never stop their efforts and do nothing then. Microsoft will be still the only operating system most people in the world use. At least, more than 90 percent personal computers all over the world run Microsoft’s OS. So, the competition will still continue between the two tech company giant.
On the other hand, Apple now should be proud of showing this result after for about 10 years struggling. This company has done many things to put its products into the mainstream. And, although the market value is won by Apple, Microsoft still grabs the bigger sales. Microsoft reported, they gained $14.5 billion in revenue, while Apple had only $13.5 billion. Well, we may have our opinion to perceive this competition between the companies. Apple may get this higher market value because of the awesome latest products, iPhone and iPad, that got huge responses from the market.
